P4 celebrate Anti-Bullying Week 🌟
P4 have had a wonderful week so far as they investigated the Anti-Bullying Alliance website, discussed the ‘Choose Respect’ theme and completed lots of individual, paired, class and school activities in the classroom and school hall. They loved learning the words to the ‘Andy and the Odd Socks’ song ‘Respect’, wearing odd socks and dressing up for World Kindness Day.
The boys and girls also examined a timely piece about Paddington on the c2k Newsdesk. It focused on the importance of kindness, respect, manners and politeness as well as promoting Paddington’s new film and his arrival to Newtownards!
There are lots of ideas for parents to help follow up, discuss and support Anti-Bullying Week issues on the school website, on the www.anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk and in the EA High Five magazine which recently highlighted Anti-Bullying Week.
P4 also completed their very own classroom display on ‘Anti-Bullying & Respect’ which tied together all the strategies they have been learning about this week. Mrs O’Neill and Mary have been so impressed with the discussions, class and home learning. Posters have been completed and they eagerly await the results on Friday. Good luck everyone!🌟
