P4 Comprehensions, Castles and moreππ
P4 have worked so hard on developing their comprehension skills through Accelerated Reader and with written comprehension work in class this week. They also focused on the ‘l’, ‘ll’, ‘le’ and ‘el’ sounds for phonics.
The boys and girls enjoyed their WAU work on ‘Castles’ as they planned, drew, coloured and designed lots of castles and medieval villages on paper and on Minecraft.
For Grow in Love, the class continued to work on prayers, songs and readings for their Enrolment Ceremony which will take place in school at 2.15pm on 13th March. P4 parents are invited to attend this special service in preparation for First Holy Communion. This week, the class also revisited the story of Zaccheus in anticipation of Easter Confessions.
During Maths, everyone produced great work as they delved into working out the area of regular and irregular shapes.
For Music, they thoroughly enjoyed adding percussion instruments to their Springtime ‘Seed Song’.
Keep up the fantastic work at home and in school P4!π
