P4 ‘Connect with Nature’ 🦋🐞🦉🐿🐝🌳
Yesterday was Wellbeing Wednesday in a special ‘Connect with Nature - Good Mental Health Awareness Week’. P4 certainly connected with nature as they visited Bluebell Wood on the Walter Shore. They took in the beautifully tranquil scenery, wooden sculptures, searched for minibeasts in lots of habitats and identified lots of plants. They especially loved the carpets of delicate bluebells, chittering birdsong, seeing the C.S. Lewis inspired fairytale throne and they even found that fantastic Mr Fox! Mr Fox is the main character in their whole class novel and they were delighted to see him in the woods. P4 definitely walked, talked and enjoyed a very special Daily Mile during a gloriously sunny morning in Portaferry.
