P4 ‘Crafty Christmas’🎅🏽🎁
Primary Four thoroughly enjoyed their morning at school. After a surprise visit from Santa Claus, their parents, grandparents, aunts, brothers and sisters came in to enjoy some beautiful crafts. Together they made amazing Christmas baubles and snowmen trinkets. Each child chose a long length of ribbon. The adults helped the children to measure themselves with the ribbon from heel to head and then it was cut and placed inside the bauble. Mrs O’Neill never misses an opportunity for maths and measuring! A message was attached to the bauble which read; ‘This ribbon is very special indeed because it is the exact same size as me. Keep it close to your heart to remember how little I was in 2024’. We know everyone will enjoy the baubles and remember this day as the years roll on. The children also made some lovely snowmen decorations. They sequenced, strung the beads in the correct order and added a hat and fabric scarf. Mrs O’Neill and Mary were so proud of how everyone listened to and followed the instructions. Thank you to Emma and Olivia for helping out with the P4/5 refreshments too.
