P4 launch their β30 Days Wildβ challenge!π¦ππΏπ
P4 launched their ‘30 Days Wild' June challenge this week. As part of their World Around Us programme, they have signed up with The Wildlife Trust to take part in lots of active outdoor learning, to develop more sensory awareness, to try some more mindfulness strategies, to research with supervision on the internet as well as to examine recycling activities at home and in school. All this with the aim of creating even more environmental awareness by helping the children to identify and nurture native plants and creatures.
Mrs O’Neill was delighted at the enthusiasm from everyone today as they really observed, collected, drew and recorded their learning. As written homework begins to decrease towards the end of June, she hopes that parents will get on board with all the wonderful suggestions sent home in their ‘30 Wild Ideas’ pamphlet.
