P4 were full of chat this morning as they discussed Ciara Mageean’s wonderful gold medal win in her 1500m race in Rome. They watched the race in class again and cheered her on much to their delight. The boys and girls were so proud of her achievements, resilience and tenacity. They are all looking forward to seeing Ciara with her gold medal when she returns to Portaferry. They wish her the very best of luck for the Olympics in Paris later in the summer.
P4 also completed their Sports Day events this afternoon. Mrs O’Neill and Cindy were so pleased with the skills shown and with the fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork. Sports stars this week and last week for sure in Portaferry. Well done P4! 🌟
