Primary Four made a very special visit to the chapel this morning to see The Christmas Crib.
They loved the bright, sparkling Star of Bethlehem above it and they enjoyed looking at all the characters and creatures within it. They spotted the baby lambs, the donkey, the cow and even a tiny little robin among Mary, Joseph, the kings and the shepherds. The class also looked at the advent wreath as they have been learning about it in class. They know that the advent wreath tells the story of the weeks of Advent in the lead up to Christmas.
They said lots of prayers for themselves, their families and those who are less fortunate at this time of the year. The also met the cleaners in the chapel and said a big ‘Thank You’ to them for all the work they do with the upkeep. Mrs O’Neill was so proud of the prayerfulness and reverence of the boys and girls and looks forward to a very holy 2025 for P4 as they prepare for their very special sacrament of First Holy Communion.
