Primary Four completed lots of activities for World Book Day this week. Some dressed up as their favourite book characters, created their own book covers, chose their favourite fact and fictional books, worked on really important words and spellings to help their reading skills, completed Accelerated Reader quizzes and examined lots of quotes about enjoying reading. They watched a live, interactive World Book Day lesson on BBC Teach and also discussed tips that could help parents and children with comprehension skills especially our ‘Questioning’ technique.
