At Saint Mary’s we believe in strong partnerships between parents and school and this year we are planning to initiate a ‘Parent Café’ to open at least once every half term.
The first Café will open tomorrow morning (Wednesday 2nd October 2024) from 8.45am -10.00am in the school canteen. We want to be more actively engaged as well as to listen to and work in greater partnership with our schooling community and this is our first attempt at a ‘Parent Café.’ An invite is extended to all to come along.
The aim of the café is to provide an opportunity for parents to come together, in an informal setting, over a cup of tea/coffee to find out more about how to support your child and what we do in school. It is also a chance to meet other parents and makes friends/share ideas.
So, if you are dropping off your child to school tomorrow morning, why not come on into the school and stop for a while and enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat.
