Plant and Play Workshop in Nursery
We were so lucky to have a visit from Vikki today with her Plant and Play Workshop. We had a very busy morning. First we got to hold little baby snails that were only a week old. They couldn’t even hold their shells up yet! If we didn’t want to hold them, we could look through a magnifying glass to see them up close. Next we coloured in our own snail’s body. We used lots of bright colours. Vikki read us a story called Christopher Nibble. We really enjoyed it. Next we got to plant our own seeds in a little tub to take home. We planted pea seeds and promised Vikki we will water them every day. We got to play a game with the parachute. It was so much fun. Vikki put some wriggly worms on to it and we had to see how high we could get them to jump! When we came back inside we finished making the shells for our snails. When they dry, we are going to send photos to Vikki because she can’t wait to see how they turn out! We had lots of different activities in our workshop and we loved them all!
