Yesterday, Primary 7 travelled to Mount Stewart to take part in a series of Pond dipping and minibeast hunt activities. The children collected samples from each area and then used classifying lanyards to identify each of the creatures.
We were surprised to find so many creatures in the ponds, we tallied each pond up and used a key to determine how healthy the pond was.
