Portaferry and Portavogie get together again
Our day began with a marvellous showcase of science experiments from ‘Scientific Sue’. We learned about solids, liquids and gases. We learned lots of new science words like oxygen, helium, carbon dioxide and even dry ice! We made gigantic soapy bubbles, sticky slime, overflowing potions and we even made hair stand on end with static energy. We learned about pushing, pulling and about gravity. Some of us became ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Chemical Engineers’ for the day. During break we enjoyed playing together in the outdoor area and after lunch we teamed up for some fantastic board game and problem solving fun. We had a brilliant day.
