To celebrate National Science Week, our P5 class visited the SERC campus in Downpatrick to take part in 2 space flight investigations. The first involved building a rocket and using a chemical reaction to propel the rocket across a given space. The second involved building an heat resister to prevent heat transferring from outside to inside. This replicated the flight of a space rocket re-entering the earths atmosphere. A great day was had by all.
