Today Primary Five celebrated their assembly on Creation. The children reflected on the things in the World that they were grateful for which included their friends, family and clubs.
The assembly took into account many cross curricular aspects to include Religion, Art, Literacy and Drama. Primary Five produced some lovely diary entries from the point of view of the ‘Injured Man’ from the ‘Parable of the Good Samaritan’. The class produced some lovely Artwork on the theme of Creation. Finally we had some of the children who re-enacted the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
Both Mr Smyth and Mr Gilchrist were very impressed with the children’s performances. A class of many talents! I think you will all agree that they deserve no written homework next week as a treat!
