Primary Five Thankfulness Assembly
Yesterday Primary Five celebrated their assembly on ‘Thankfulness’. We took time to reflect on all of the things that we are grateful for in our lives. This included our parents, grandparents, teachers and the nature around us to name but a few.
The assembly took into account many cross curricular aspects to include Religion, Art, Literacy and Drama. The children produced some lovely ‘Thankful’ poems and a recount of the Parable of the Good Samaritan. The class produced very detailed and colourful Creation posters. Definitely a few budding artists in the class. Finally the children re-enacted the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
Both Mr Smyth and Mr Gilchrist were very proud of the children’s performance. A class of many talents!
