We have been doing lots of activities in preparation for Saint Patrick’s Day. We made our own shamrocks to take home as little gifts. We listened to the story of Saint Patrick and coloured in pictures of him. On Friday, we had Green Day in school. We were treated to some Irish Dancing! We also had a new action song at mat time called The Hunt for the Golden Shamrock which was great fun! There was lots of excitement when Connla found a ‘real life’ shamrock in our outdoor area! We all had a good look at it! Lots of fun times! Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to everyone!
