Sewing Bunny Rabbits in SP1
3rd Apr 2025
In the lead up to Easter, children in SP1 demonstrated some wonderful fine motor skills as they all crafted their very own Easter bunny rabbits. The children started by picking from a delightful array of colourful felt to make them truly their own. With great focus and dexterity, they cleverly sewed the edges, transforming simple pieces of felt into lovely little creations. Once the bunnies were securely sewn, it was time for some stuffing, to ensure that they were cuddly enough. By decorating the bunnies with faces and accessories, the children were able to create interesting and unique characters. The bunnies look wonderful and the children were so proud of their hard work and creativity.
