We had a very exciting week with lots of hard work, Christmas play practice, art and craft and on Friday, some very special visitors!
Assembly was a mass of blue and yellow to support our Portaferry hurling team who are playing in the Ulster Championship on Sunday. School was buzzing with so many famous, familiar faces, not to mention fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins and friends! P2 were very busy and made lovely posters for the hurlers. We were also honoured to have our own past pupil and amazing All Star Niamh Mallon come to talk to us and visit our class. The children asked lots of questions and Niamh was so warm and generous with her answers and time. Dara and Niamh made a beautiful poster which everyone signed and we presented this to Niamh! Well done Niamh!
