Today Primary Three were very lucky to be visited by Geraldine and Maureen, who helped us to make our own St. Brigid's crosses. The ladies demonstrated three different ways of making crosses and told us a little bit about St. Brigid and why we make crosses at this time of year. We used their method to fold over the rushes at 12 O'Clock, 3 O'clock, 6 O'clock and 9 O'clock and continued until we had our finished crosses. The crosses have been collected and will be blessed at mass tomorrow morning!
