The boys in our Specialist Provision have been like little elves this week making lovely reindeer hot chocolates to give to local people as a Christmas treat. This experience provided a wealth of learning about why we give gifts at Christmas and in preparation we watched a social story about 'giving in to giving'. In making these gifts they have been developing their fine motor skills. They delivered them to our neighbours on Windmill Hill as a little Christmas surprise. It was lovely for the boys to develop their social interaction skills when we knocked on some doors and the occupants were home.Thank you to our neighbours for being so welcoming as the boys even came home with some treats too!
