Tie a ribbon to the school railings! There have been a few more people walking past the school and tieing their ribbons to the railings. Sophia and Olivia went out to the school yesterday and placed their ribbons at the school gates. They also reported that they are still busy doing their school-work and they are both enjoying practicing for the virtual sports day and logging their daily activities on the app. Lily-May also called past the school yesterday and tied her ribbon to the school gates.

Today we had Caoimbhe (P6) tieing on her ribbon and she really wants to say a big hello to all the P6 class. She is missing all her friends and hopes to see them soon. Niamh and Kian also took time on their walk to stop and place their ribbons. It is great to see you all entering into the spirit of this and by your ribbons you are telling others that you are thinking of them. Remember we are asking for a display of colour. If you are unable to tie a ribbon to the school railings you are welcome to tie anything colourful. All we ask is that there are no emblems and that the only writing is messages of kindness. We will also be extending this to next week so there is plenty of time to get yours flying.

EvaMarie (P5) got a lovely surprise today from Aiobhe (P5) in the shape of a lovely card. She tells me that inside the card was the most beautiful handwriting with a lovely message. This really was a kind and thoughtful gesture from Aoibhe and really made EvaMarie smile. She wanted Aoibhe to know that she too misses her and wants to a send her a big hug to say thank you.

Cian was so excited and he wanted to tell everyone that he learned recently how he to ride his bike properly and he even went on a 7-mile cycle. He is also practicing for the egg and spoon race as part of the Healthy Kitz challenge. You really have been very active Cian.

As always, great work everyone and keep sending your pictures and your acts of “Kindness” to pgilchrist570@c2kni.net
