Today P3 had a 'Time Party Day'!
To help us consolidate our learning of O'clock and half past the hour times, we celebrated every 'O'clock' and 'half past ' time - all ten of them! Mrs Fowler set a timer for every 30 minutes and when the clock was on the hour, or half past the hour we had a little party!
We used our own watches to keep an eye on the time and when it was 'time to party', we put on our party hats, danced to some music and blew our party blowers. Once the music stopped we had to race back to our desks and make the time on our analogue clocks. The winner, ended the party by popping a balloon with the current digital time written on it.
P3 had a great day bringing their mathematical learning to life and have been given a balloon to carry the party on at home (with strict instruction that the party ends at 7.00pm)!
