Today in school we had a visit from Portaferry in Bloom who helped the children to plant 200 new sapling trees in the grounds of our school. Each child was presented with a tree and they planted it into the ground, with a little help. Hopefully many of these trees take hold and will continue to grow. Each pupil named their tree and we have asked them to remember where they planted their tree and to watch it grow. Thank you once again to Portaferry in Bloom for their help and to Strangford and Lecale Partnership for providing the trees.
