Wednesday 10th June - Speed Bounce Challenge - Part 1

10th Jun 2020

Again before we go onto today's "Bounce Challenge" a few pictures came in overnight for the "Balance a Book" and "Bat and Ball" Challenge." The Collins family have been very busy completing these challenges. Alice (P4) got 1/2 lap which lasted 8 seconds. Cara (P6) got an amazing 6 laps totalling 3 mins 20 seconds. For the ball bouncing Aoife (Nursery) and Meabh (P1) got 2 each, Alice got 6 and Cara got 12. Their mum even had a go and got 38. Bella (P1) and Ruairi (P2) also really enjoyed yesterday's challenge.

Now onto today's "Bounce Challenge." Thank you again to Mr Denvir for doing today's challenge and again a very high score has been set. Follow link https://www.stmaryspsportaferry.com/news/wednesday-10th-june-/?p=1&tags=,1088, for today's video. Don't forget mummy's and daddy's can also take part! Caoimbhe was first in today and she managed 28 and one squashed cereal box! Aoibhe (P5) managed to beat Mr Denvir's score of 48. She did 50. She also wants to let Mr Denvir know that she was very impressed by his 1000 press ups. She thinks he should be on tv! Not to be beaten by his sister, Bradan (P6) had another go and made it 51. Their mum fears the  competition may go on all day!

The Collins family were out early today and they all agreed that this challenge is the most fun one to date and the girls were delighted with their results. Aoife (Nursery) scored 20, Meabh (P1) scored 24, Alice (P4) scored 50 and Cara (P6) scored a whopping 62. Cara was particularly delighted as she beat her teacher! That's the highest number so far Cara. Aoibhinn (P2) enjoyed the challenge today. She had 18 jumps in 30 seconds and managed to squash the box of cereal too!  Oscar (P1) managed 9 jumps and even done one backwards!! His mum had a go and got 38 but she did admit to nearly falling over trying to beat Mr Denvir. Another update to come later this afternoon. Keep your pictures coming.
