Winter Fun in Nursery!
We have been using the icy weather to give us ideas for some artwork. We made Snowflake shapes and used cotton buds to add decoration. We used bubble wrap to do some printing and made some icy pictures. Our role play room now has a winter theme. We love playing with all the puppets and looking at the winter books and pictures. After our frosty trip to Exploris, we painted our very own penguins. We did a great job of adding all the little details to them! On Friday, our water tray had lots of ice in it when we arrived in nursery! We had great fun touching it. It made our hands very cold. There were some great descriptive words being used. Some said it was cold, hard, freezing and slippy. One child said the drips were showing the ice was starting to melt! Winter time is great fun!
