We had a fantastic day today celebrating ‘World Book Day’ in P3! We spend some time in the morning reading and discussing our favourite book. Mrs. Fowler read us an extract from one of her favourite books, ‘Matilda’, and we heard all about Bruce Bogtrotter and the evil Mrs. Trunchbull, who forced Bruce to eat a entire chocolate cake in front of the whole school.
Mrs. Fowler then surprised us with a chocolate cake and we all had a slice; some P3s actually wished they could have the whole cake, just like Bruce!
We ended the day making some special book marks to give to all the book lovers in our lives. We hope that you enjoy these pictures of our day and our brilliant costumes!
