Everyone in our school from our youngest learners to our eldest classes that took part in so many wonderful ‘World Maths Day’ activities were winners in that they worked on and gained so many Numeracy, language, ICT and teamwork skills. However, today on behalf of Mathletics, Mrs O’Neill our Maths coordinator presented ‘Super Student’ certificates to those children who attained the highest scores in each class. A big well done to Isla-Rose, Leo and Aodhan from P3, Tyler, Lucas and Dara in P4, Cliodhna, Leo and Caoimhe in P5 and Oisin, Michael and Logan in P6.
Parents, thank you so much for your continued support with all things Mathematics & Numeracy. As we approach Easter, please be mindful of the importance of your support for your child with revision for Numeracy assessments. It won’t be long until we are back after Easter and preparing for end of year computerised assessment too. There is no better way to prepare than by logging on to Mathletics together, completing set tasks and maybe even printing out a few of the vast array of topic booklets for each year group in the ‘Resources’ section of Mathletics.
