We all loved Nursery Rhyme Week in P1. On Monday we started with Twinkle Twinkle and we got to make star shapes using our play doh. Tuesday was Old MacDonald so we brought the farm set out to play with. On Wednesday we learnt The Big Ship Sails which was unfamiliar to a lot of children. Thursday's rhyme was Incy Wincy and we had the best time going out with our magnifying glasses to spot spider webs and even Incy Wincy himself! We thought this was the best day of the week until.... Friday. Friday's rhyme was 5 Currant Buns so after our very healthy Yoga session, we enjoyed a little bun as a treat. The children definitely deserved the certificates that they got home today!
